Teesside (Redcar) - site based. 9 Month Contract | 5 days a week. Outside IR35. Negotiable Day Rate.

Ceto Talent are supporting a global EPC energy contractor delivering a major carbon capture project in Teesside. Our client is responsible for pipeline installation and associated construction activities as the project moves through its final execution phase. This is a key site role, offering the opportunity to play a visible part in a high profile energy transition project.

The Role

You will support the QHSE Manager and Project Quality Manager in the planning and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) across an onshore package of work. The role focuses on ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout construction activities and that project procedures are effectively implemented across site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS)
  • Ensure preparation and distribution of Project Quality Plans and procedures in line with Company QMS
  • Plan and conduct quality audits to verify effective PQMS implementation
  • Conduct external audits of vendors and subcontractors
  • Participate in project management meetings to coordinate quality activities
  • Supervise subcontractors and organisations carrying out works
  • Manage site non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Promote preventative actions to reduce potential non-conformities
  • Collect and analyse project quality data and support quality management reviews
  • Manage lessons learned processes
  • Report project quality information to the Project Quality Manager

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar within construction site environments
  • Experience supporting major energy, infrastructure, power or industrial projects
  • Strong experience in auditing, subcontractor management and material storage/preservation
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and site quality processes
  • Right to live and work in UK without sponsorship
