Project Quality Manager – Offshore Wind Location: South West London office Working arrangement: Minimum Three days per week in the office Rate: £600–£650 per day - Negotiable depending on exp. IR35: Outside IR35 Contract: Initial 12 months, with ongoing work expected through to 2028 Start date: ASAP We are recruiting a Project Quality Manager for a major international engineering and construction contractor delivering a large-scale offshore wind project. The Project Quality Manager will plan and implement the Project Quality Management System and ensure the effective delivery of all Quality Control activities. You will act as the focal point for quality-related matters across the project and with external organisations, reporting to the QHSE Manager and Project Director or Project Manager. Responsibilities * Prepare and distribute the required Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System * Plan quality audits to assess the correct implementation of the Project Quality Management System * Conduct external audits of vendor and subcontractor quality management systems * Participate in Project Management meetings to coordinate quality and wider project activities * Promote and implement the applicable contractual quality requirements across the project organisation * Support the Project Manager in quality-related matters with the client and relevant authorities * Supervise subcontractors and organisations responsible for delivering the works * Manage site non-conformities * Implement appropriate actions to prevent potential non-conformities and address their causes * Oversee quality requirements relating to material storage and preservation Requirements * Engineering degree * ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification * Proven years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar position * Previous experience within an offshore construction project environment * Strong experience in auditing, subcontractor management, material storage and preservation To discuss this contract confidentially, please contact: Jasmine White @ Ceto Talent - official recruitment partner for the client
