Ceto Talent are supporting a global offshore EPC contractor on a key Offshore Decommissioning project, looking for an experienced Claims Quantity Surveyor to support commercial and contractual activities.
The Role: You’ll be responsible for the preparation, assessment and negotiation of claims, ensuring all contractual entitlements are properly identified, substantiated and managed. This role works closely with project teams and subcontractors to manage risk and protect the commercial position across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse contracts, project plans and correspondence to identify claims and risks.
- Prepare and manage claims (variations, EOTs, additional costs).
- Review subcontractor claims against scope and main contract.
- Quantify and substantiate claims using supporting evidence (cost, programme, site records).
- Support negotiation and resolution of claims with stakeholders.
- Contribute to dispute resolution processes where required.
- Maintain accurate claims records and reporting.
- Provide input on contractual risk and claims strategy.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Claims Quantity Surveyor on offshore infrastructure projects, preferably offshore decommissioning.
- Strong understanding of contract law, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Experience working with subcontractor claims and main contract interfaces.
- Strong analytical and commercial capability.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders within a project environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma related to quantity surveying.
