We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major HV Power infrastructure programme within a complex rail environment. This role will focus on the management of a large-scale NEC Design & Build contract, supporting critical infrastructure upgrades across multiple operational sites.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of a major NEC contract currently in detailed design and construction phase, ensuring programme, cost, safety and delivery risks are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with contractors, project teams and stakeholders to drive successful delivery across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of a major NEC Design & Build contract
  • Manage programme, cost, safety and delivery performance across live construction activities
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee project governance, reporting and risk management activities
  • Monitor project progress against key milestones and contractual obligations
  • Manage change control, commercial interfaces and contract administration
  • Support construction and installation activities across operational infrastructure environments
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure effective communication across project teams
  • Lead and support Assistant Project Managers within the delivery team

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering NEC contracts
  • Strong understanding of NEC3 / NEC4 contract management
  • Experience delivering HV Power, utilities or infrastructure projects
  • Background in construction delivery within operational or regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • Ability to manage programme, commercial and delivery risks effectively

Desirable Experience

  • Rail or transport infrastructure experience
  • Experience delivering projects within operational railway environments
  • Knowledge of HV substations, power upgrades or cable route projects

Working Arrangement

Hybrid working available (approximately 50%) London-based project and office locations
