Based on site near Talacre, North Wales * Start: ASAP * Contract until the end of the project, approximately 2028 * Circa Β£500 per day (negotiable, depending on experience) * Outside IR35/Limited Company * Full-time, 5.5 days per week (Saturday morning when required) Ceto Talent is supporting a leading international energy EPC contractor delivering the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture and Storage Project, part of a wider cluster of major projects helping the UK achieve its Net Zero 2050 targets. We are recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the management of construction quantities, subcontractor progress, cost control and commercial reporting throughout the project. Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritise the safety of personnel, the environment and equipment.
  • Update the project database and Bill of Quantities, maintaining the Quantity Record Booklet in accordance with passive invoicing procedures.
  • Verify quantitative data relating to extra works and dayworks.
  • Support the Discipline Superintendent and management team with the definition of New Prices and Change Work Orders.
  • Monitor daily labour hours and equipment usage across subcontractor and directly hired activities.
  • Track installed quantities and assess active and passive progress measurements against the relevant contracts.
  • Verify data consistency against company procedures, project agreements, preambles, price lists and subcontract requirements.
  • Prepare and verify subcontractor work progress statements and relevant certification for payment and accountability purposes.
  • Ensure quantity and progress information is accurately recorded within the project's construction management systems.
  • Assist the Construction Manager and Discipline Superintendent with construction feasibility reviews based on IFC drawings. Experience

Required

  • Proven industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Previous experience within the oil and gas, energy or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Bills of Quantities, progress measurement and subcontractor certification.
  • Experience managing variations, extra works, dayworks, new prices and change orders.
  • Confidence reviewing IFC drawings and validating installed construction quantities.
