The predicted salary is between 50 - 50 Β£ per hour.

A major national surveying programme is underway, delivering large-scale stock condition surveys and HHSRS assessments across social housing estates. With approximately 4,000 surveys already completed and a further 3,800 scheduled before year end, we are looking to appoint two experienced Building Surveyors to support delivery across the Southern region. This is a field-based role involving regular travel, working as part of an established programme team to ensure accurate and timely completion of surveys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake stock condition surveys and HHSRS assessments across allocated programmes
  • Use iPads to accurately capture survey data while on site
  • Complete survey completion documentation (full, partial, external-only, or aborted visits)
  • Follow standard operating procedures for access attempts, data recording, and reporting
  • Upload survey data in line with programme requirements
  • Escalate and report any high-risk health and safety requirements
  • Liaise with the programme team to ensure smooth delivery and accurate reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent technical experience
  • Proven experience delivering surveys
