An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Cost Manager to join an established team delivering complex infrastructure and energy programmes. This is a permanent role offering long‑term career development, exposure to high‑profile projects, and the chance to operate within a mature, well‑structured consultancy environment.
The Role
- You will be responsible for delivering cost management services across a portfolio of complex projects, working closely with clients, delivery teams, and wider project controls functions.
- The role combines hands‑on technical delivery with client engagement and contribution to team development.
- You will support service quality, provide clear commercial insight, and help maintain high technical standards across cost planning, cost control, and reporting.
- There is genuine scope to progress beyond Senior level for the right individual.
About You
- You will have a consultancy background in cost management and be comfortable delivering services across complex or regulated projects.
- A strong technical grounding in cost planning, forecasting, and commercial management is essential, along with the confidence to challenge and advise delivery teams constructively.
- Experience within infrastructure, energy, or major programmes is beneficial, as is familiarity with industry benchmarks, cost breakdown structures, and standard forms of contract such as NEC or FIDIC.
- You may already be MRICS, or working towards chartership.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
