THE COMPANY
A fantastic opportunity for a Trainee/Junior Paraplanner to join a Chartered and very well established Independent Financial Advisory practice in Chester. We are a growing firm with fantastic industry name focused on providing a complete financial planning service ensuring the client is at the heart of everything we do.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an Trainee Paraplanner to support our existing experienced Paraplanner and the successful Chartered financial planners within the business. You will work in a supportive team environment where progress is strongly supported.
Duties will include:-
Compiling suitability reports for clients requiring investments, pensions and protection solutions.
Product, fund, mortgage and protection research to identify suitable solutions for clients.
Using investment / wrap platforms.
Obtaining Illustrations, product information and preparing application forms.
Liaising with clients and providers to deal with enquiries and resolve client queries.
THE REMUNERATION
The successful applicant will enjoy an exciting role, with opportunities to develop their skills, progress their career and earn a competitive basic salary with the potential for twice yearly bonuses on top. In addition there is fully funded exam support, exam pass bonuses, attendance at professional events, contributory pension scheme and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
What\'s needed to be considered?
Working towards level 4 Diploma qualification, or well progressed with these qualifications, with relevant experience in an independent financial advisory practice.
Good analytical capability and communication skills.
Good pension, investment, mortgage and protection product knowledge.
Experience of wraps, FE Analytics and XPLAN are a distinct advantage.
