We are seeking a Product Support Manager, based at our manufacturing facility in Ipswich, Suffolk. In this role, you will support our network of dealers and distributors by providing technical expertise, delivering training, and ensuring high aftersales standards across our product range. Working closely with internal teams, you will help resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and enhance overall product performance and customer experience.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the Ransomes & Jacobsen turf equipment range, along with EZGO and Cushman products distributed via the Ipswich facility;
  • Managing dealer, distributor, and customer queries and complaints, ensuring issues are thoroughly investigated and resolved effectively;
  • Providing accurate and detailed feedback to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams on product performance to support continuous improvement;
  • Partnering with dealers and distributors to ensure aftersales standards consistently meet business and customer expectations, including supporting process adherence and onboarding new partners;
  • Conducting regular dealer reviews and surveys to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Delivering service training to dealers, distributors, and customers;
  • Acting as the primary contact for service‑related matters within your region, with an awareness of broader parts, training, and warranty considerations;
  • Collaborating closely with Regional Sales Managers to support overall business objectives.

About You

As a Product Support Manager, we would ask you bring the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering/agricultural or related field, OR relevant experience considered in lieu;
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a technical support role, ideally within the turf, agricultural, or construction equipment industry;
  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems;
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and parts diagrams;
  • Good IT skills and confidence using business systems;
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer‑facing skills;
  • Commercial awareness and strong problem‑solving capability;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams;
  • Additional European language skills would be advantageous but not essential;
  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
