Mental Health Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for mental health support workers for a private mental health hospital based in Goddards Green, West Sussex, supporting adults aged 18+ with various mental health conditions.

Your role will be to ensure that patients are able to live as independently as possible by assisting with their daily lives when needed.

Job Requirements

• Experience working with mental health
• DBS on the update service (Desirable)
• Restraint training (e.g., PMVA, MAPA, CPI, Maybo)
• Minimum 3 years of references with no gaps
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions

Key Responsibilities

• Encouraging new skill development
• Attending appointments
• Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks
• Measuring and recording patients\’ vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
