We are currently recruiting for mental health support workers for a private mental health hospital based in Royston Hertfordshire, supporting adults 18+ with various mental health conditions. Your role will be to ensure the patients are able to live as independent a life as possible by assisting with their everyday lives when needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working with Mental health
  • DBS on update service (Desirable)
  • Restraint training e.g PMVA/Mapa/CPI/Maybo
  • Minimum 3 years references no gaps
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Good at problem-solving and ability to make quick decisions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage new skill development
  • Attending appointments
  • Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks
  • Measure and record patients' vital signs such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
