A fast-growing Microsoft-focused consultancy is investing heavily in its Adoption & Change Management function, driven by strong enterprise demand and a string of major customer wins. As part of that growth, they’re looking to hire a Power Platform specialist who can sit at the intersection of training, customer success, and light consulting, someone who doesn’t just understand the technology, but can bring it to life for end users. This is a growth role, not a replacement, with further hiring planned.
This is a customer-facing, delivery-led position focused on driving adoption of Power Platform solutions post-implementation. You’ll work across a varied customer base, helping organisations realise value through structured enablement programmes, hands-on training, and ongoing engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering remote and on-site Power Platform training workshops
- Creating high-quality learning content (guides, videos, tutorials)
- Supporting adoption and change programmes
- Working with Account Managers to scope requirements and identify training needs
- Contributing to proposals, SoWs and PoC documentation
- Advising customers on best practice, governance and usage within the Microsoft ecosystem
What They’re Looking For:
Not a generalist M365 trainer role. They are specifically looking for someone who has actively delivered Power Platform training, not someone who has recently picked it up or only touched on it.
Must have:
- Proven experience delivering Power Platform training (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)
- Background in training, customer success, or adoption/change roles
- Strong communication skills—able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Broader Microsoft ecosystem knowledge (M365 essential, Azure beneficial)
Nice to have:
- Experience within a Microsoft partner or consultancy
- Exposure to cloud, migration, or managed services environments
- Experience building structured training programmes and content
What Good Looks Like:
- You can clearly demonstrate running engaging training sessions
- You simplify complex concepts for non-technical users
- You’ve created structured, reusable learning content
- You’re comfortable in front of customers and add value beyond just delivery
What Doesn’t Work:
- Deeply technical profiles who can’t teach or communicate effectively
- Candidates who “know the tech” but lack real training experience
Package:
- £45,000 – £60,000 base
- ~£5,000 bonus (linked to utilisation)
- Target: ~12 billable days/month (team currently exceeding this)
- Strong overall benefits package
- All travel fully expensed
Location:
- UK remote
- Occasional travel to customer sites and the office (Pocklington)
- Driving licence required
If you enjoy being in front of customers, thrive on helping users actually adopt technology (not just implement it), and have a genuine depth in Power Platform training—this is a strong opportunity to join a team scaling quickly in a high-demand area.
