We are seeking a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Coventry. This role involves working closely with pupils with additional needs, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Support learning across the classroom and adapted activities
- Assist with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
- Help manage behaviour and emotional regulation needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)
- Calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties (desirable)
- Level 2/3 TA qualification preferred but not essential
