We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bedworth for a Summer term position within Reception, with the potential opportunity to move into the school’s ARP provision from September for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to gain further experience within an SEN setting.

The role will involve supporting children within Reception, providing both classroom and targeted SEN support, helping pupils access learning, develop social skills and feel supported throughout the school day.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Experience within schools or nursery settings desirable
  • Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Experience supporting Autism or additional needs desirable
