We are looking for a Business Development Manager to seek and close AUV survey opportunities in the oil & gas pipelines and loading lines market. With an initial focus in EU geographies this role has scope for global growth.
What you can expect- Early-stage prospecting of the pipelines market to determine sales opportunities that support the near and long-term growth of the company
- Arrange and lead technical sales meetings to provide a quality overview of our capabilities to audiences that may not be tech-savvy
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all customer matters with the target market
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives against target customers
- Forecast and track business development and sales metrics
- Support development and operational teams by providing market and customer feedback
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Strong experience in sales processes, networking and prospecting with international customers, ideally in the oil & gas industry.
- Proven ability to understand customer problems and assess commercial potential.
- Willingness, persistence, and creativity in establishing contact with new prospects and conducting commercial discussions
- An entrepreneurial mindset — you take ownership, move fast, and learn from iteration.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with both internal teams and external stakeholders at various technical and seniority levels
- Experience managing a sales pipeline to support sales targets.
