About the role:

The Digital Learning Officer is responsible for overseeing the management of Certitude's Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting the development of digital learning materials. You will work with the Learning & Development (L&D) Business Partners and Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) team to maintain the LMS and other application solutions, provide and develop data reports, and source or design new digital learning content, including e-learning, video and animations.

Duties will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end administration & coordination of Certitude's Learning Management System (LMS), including maintaining relevant process guides, managing rules & user groups, and setting up course assignments and learning pathways for different learner groups.
  • Providing helpdesk support to online learning users. This can involve talking users through how to use platforms and supporting those with low confidence.
  • Building a good working relationship with Certitude's Learning Management System (LMS) provider to ensure responsive, effective support, troubleshooting and to suggest improvements.
  • Helping to develop the functionality of Certitude's Learning Management System (LMS) by testing and recommending new features that support L&OD activities.
  • Creating, maintaining and updating learning pathways on Certitude's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • In collaboration with the L&OD Team, develop or source engaging, interactive digital learning materials.
  • In collaboration with the L&OD Team, produce data reports from Certitude's Learning Management System (LMS), such as tracking compliance with mandatory training and evaluation, to help show the impact of blended & digital learning within Certitude.

To be a Digital Learning Officer at Certitude, the following are essential:

  • Demonstrable experience using Learning Management Systems, including maintaining relevant process guides, managing rules & user groups, and setting up course assignments and learning pathways for different learner groups.
  • Experience of using authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
  • Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, HTML5, and accessibility guidelines to ensure compatibility and inclusivity.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise different projects within timescales.
  • Ability to self-manage and take initiative.
  • Ability to explain and present complex or technical information clearly.
