Shift Time: Monday – Friday (9.30am – 5.30pm)

About the role:
The role of a Cleaner / Cook is to work in the homes of the people we support with preparing nutritious meals whilst adhering to all food hygiene requirements in a clean environment.
Duties will include:
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
- Ensure all rubbish and waste products are disposed of promptly and safely, in line with all guidelines.
- Establish a good relationship with the people we support and familiarise yourself with their support and communication needs.
- To maintain a high level of cleanliness by ensuring that the lounge’s carpets are swept / vacuumed.
- To ensure that the bathrooms and toilets are kept clean by sanitising hand wash basins, baths, and taps with antibacterial cleaning solution.
- Ensure that an adequate food stock is kept in the house and do shopping when required.
- Prepare and cook all meals at lunch and dinner with varied dietary requirements.
About you:
To be a Cleaner / Cook at Certitude, the following are essential:
- Experience of carrying out cooking and cleaning tasks to a good standard.
- Knowledge/understanding of health and safety considerations when using cleaning equipment and products.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to communicate with both colleagues and the people we support.
