An exciting opportunity to join Certitude as a Senior Programme Manager on a 12-month contract as we continue to grow.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours

Job Type: Fixed Term – Full-time – 12 Months (Maternity Cover)

Location: Head Office – Balham / Ealing & working from home

To be available to start ideally during September 2026.

About the role:

The role of the Senior Programme Manager is to help shape and deliver Certitude’s transformation programme as it moves from implementation to embedding change and realising benefits. Over the last few years, strong programme governance foundations have been put in place. The focus now is on keeping work moving with clarity, pace and confidence, making sure agreed priorities translate into practical delivery and visible impact.

Duties will include:

  • Provide visible leadership and drive to the transformation programme and organisational business planning, empowering and engaging colleagues, ensuring delivery keeps moving.
  • Shape, monitor and report on the Transformation & Change roadmap and Certitude business plan, keeping them live, focused and connected to organisational priorities.
  • Prepare reports for the Transformation Advisory Committee and Transformation Programme Board, making sure progress, risks, issues, decisions and actions are clear, useful and followed through.
  • Provide oversight of budgets and related risks, working with colleagues to support confident, well-informed decision-making.
  • Build Certitude’s evaluation maturity by developing practical PMO and evaluation foundations, including tools, reporting routines, learning loops and benefits tracking.

About you:

To be a Senior Programme Manager at Certitude, the following are essential:

  • Experience as a programme manager leading transformation or change programmes in complex, ambitious and operationally busy organisations, bringing visible leadership and drive.
  • An experienced leader with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders, Executive Team and Trustee-level committees.
  • Ability to lead governance, senior reporting, risk management, decision-making and practical follow-through.
  • Experience managing, supporting and coaching colleagues.
  • Confidence using technology to communicate, organise work, analyse information and support delivery.
