About the role

As a Support Worker, you will work directly with people in their homes and in the community. You will be expected to support people with a variety of needs, enabling them to live the lives they want.

Duties will include:

  • Building great relationships with people we support and the people important to their lives
  • Promoting choice and participation when supporting people with daily tasks
  • Co-creating opportunities for people to try new things and offering information to support people to make their own choices
  • Offering personalised support by working with people’s strengths to build their confidence and overcome obstacles with the aim of achieving their goals
  • Encouraging people to participate in activities that bring them joy and meaning
