THE ROLE

The Certinia Product Management team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us accelerate our Performance and Scale work for PS Cloud, to serve our largest global clients. In this role, you will be responsible to work with customers, Product leaders, Engineering and Architecture to enhance our P&S practices and drive exceptional scale in our industry leading solution. This includes defining strategy & best practices, leveraging tooling to empower the entire team, and driving specific performance and scale investments through focused teams. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and technical skills, someone to work with many departments and internal stakeholders such as engineering, product operations, other product managers, and UX designers to ensure that the opportunities are identified and prioritized. Additionally, you will be working with the telemetry and analytics tools to help drive data-driven decisions and investments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • Understand and prioritize P&S investments for our PS Cloud solution
  • Product manage those investments across multiple teams and multiple releases
  • Interact with global customers, internal stakeholders and your peers
  • Work with our Engineering partners to define our P&S strategy, best practices for both Product and Engineering and our approach to testing
  • Participate in both release planning and release launch processes to drive our 3 times a year release plan
  • Present P&S work and impact in a consumable way to peers and leadership throughout release cycle
  • Engage with your peers building functional capabilities to provide guidance around “building P&S in”

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Product management experience in a fast paced SaaS environment
  • Experience engaging with large Enterprise customers
  • Experience with telemetry analysis & data-driven decision making
  • Understanding of and exposure to different types of testing (performance, concurrency)
  • Ability to investigate and triage complex customer issues
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

  • An understanding of Enterprise Architecture patterns
  • Awareness of and experience with Benchmark testing tools like Blazemeter / LoadRunner
  • Exposure to development best practices, especially on the Salesforce platform
