Role
THE ROLE
Focussed on excellent customer service for your colleagues at Certinia, you will design, build and maintain the internal SaaS/IaaS/PaaS infrastructure used to support the global IT Operations service delivery. You will be able to architect IT systems to meet business goals, 100% in the cloud. You will run projects that drive IT improvement, new service delivery and continuously improve the security baseline of the Certinia internal infrastructure. You will use metrics to understand the health of the infrastructure, predict potential problems and support compliance goals. You will have a strong technical mindset with logical problem solving and a methodical approach to resolving IT challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate the internal IT cloud infrastructure
- Configure SaaS applications, with a focus on automation, scale, interoperability and security
- Plan IT projects and execute on tasks as assigned by the Head of IT, focused on improving the cloud infrastructure or computer usability and security
- Support and deliver the IT security compliance objectives for Certinia
- Use Splunk to build, monitor and maintain the health and security of the IT cloud infrastructure and endpoint
- Share knowledge and best practice with members of the IT team
- Design, build and operate Identity and Access Management platforms to maintain Cloud application user directories and its access
- Document procedural and operational instructions
- Maintain excellent communication with all end users, stakeholders and within the IT team
- Point of escalation for technical issues with the cloud infrastructure
- Work with vendor support and external expert services as needed
- Deliver service excellence
Qualifications
- Experienced in supporting IT SaaS solutions
- Experienced in supporting IaaS, SaaS, PaaS technology
- Experienced in using API’s, and managing APIs
- Experienced with SAML/SSO/Oauth
- Experienced with scripting languages for macOS and Windows OS
- Experienced in using a SIEM solution
- Experienced in planning and executing on projects on time and to specification
- Experience of supporting remote users
- Experienced in supporting and configuring MDM solutions
- Knowledgeable of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc)
- Knowledgeable of ISO27001 or SOC2 (Type II) certifications
- Proficient in recognizing, analyzing, and effectively solving problems in a timely and organized manner, using industry best practices and procedures
- Proficient in clearly communicating technical concepts to non-technical people
Nice to have
- Experience with an Incident Management solution such as Zendesk, Service Now or Service Cloud
- Experience of project management
- Experience in TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc)
- Experience in supporting and building AWS Infrastructure
- Experience in supporting and building Google Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience in supporting and building Microsoft Azure/O365 Infrastructure
- Experience in writing code for API integrations in node.js
