THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits, the Benefits Analyst will apply their knowledge of global benefits regulation, best practices and procedures to analyze, optimize, and support the administration of benefits, retirement, wellness and leave of absence programs. This role has the potential to make a significant impact by providing data-driven insights and highly influence the future state of the Total Rewards culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
Program Design & Analysis: Analyzes employee inquiries, benefits trends, and regulatory changes to provide data-driven recommendations for global program improvements, policy renewals, and new benefit implementations.
- Assist with global annual renewal processes and administration; reviewing plan performance, cost analysis and make recommendations based employee feedback and market trends.
Complex Problem-Solving and Proactive Compliance:Leads compliance initiatives, such as reasonable accommodations, interprets complex country, federal, and state regulations, and proactively identifies and resolves root causes of benefits issues in collaboration with the broker team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Leadership:Collaborates with HRIS, Payroll, and Finance to streamline benefits processes and ensure data integrity, and leads or contributes to key benefits projects like open enrollment and RFPs.
Advanced Program Administration: Administers global healthcare, retirement, and leave programs with a focus on efficiency, and conducts ongoing reporting and audits to identify discrepancies and trends.
- Maintains and recommends enhancements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Communications Coordination and Administration: Help coordinate annual renewal communications strategy and employee education opportunities for the global population.
- In conjunction with Benefits team, develop and maintain benefits educational resources for employees and candidates to enhance their benefits understanding and overall experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience in Benefits/HR, or equivalent experience at broker, consultancy, or carrier
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong research and application skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis
- Experience with HRIS reporting and analytic tools
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, draw conclusions and present findings clearly
- Effective project management and vendor management skills
- Experience administering leaves, accommodations, and workers’ compensation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong working knowledge of health and welfare regulations
- Experience thriving in a global, pre-IPO company in growth mode
