Do you have technical ability? Are you looking for a challenge within a product support team? Certikin is looking for a Product Support Advisor to join our busy Liners & Covers Division on a 6 – 12 month fixed term contract basis to help deliver further growth. Certikin is a brand leader that delivers everything that is required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres. Based in our Head Office in Witney, Oxfordshire the successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with technical enquiries, specifying products and providing quotations on liners & covers for pools and providing a high level of customer service.
The job includes:
- Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships
- Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively
- Providing both written and verbal quotations where necessary for products relating to the Liners & Covers Division
- Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department
- Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and/or quotations
- Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate
- Occasionally attending Trade Shows and company-led seminars
- Liaising with External Sales Executives
- Promoting product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines
- Maintaining product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling products
- Providing documentation as required by the customer, such as product specification
- Maintaining knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability.
What you will bring to the role?
- Previous experience of working in the swimming pool industry would be desirable but not essential
- Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus
- Knowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft software
- Ability to function in a high-paced environment
