Certikin International is looking for a Pool Product Specialist to join our busy Pools Division to help deliver further growth.

Certikin International is a brand leader that delivers everything that is required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres.

The job includes

  • Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively
  • Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department
  • Providing quotations where necessary
  • Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships
  • Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and/or quotations
  • Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate
  • Occasionally attending Trade Shows and Company-led seminars
  • Liaising with Internal & External Sales Executives
  • Promoting product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines
  • Maintaining product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling products
  • Providing documentation as required by the customer such as product specification
  • Maintaining knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability

What will you bring to the role?

  • Previous experience of working in the Swimming Pool industry would be desirable but not essential
  • Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus
  • Knowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Ability to function in a high-paced environment

Your role will be office based working 37 hours a week within a small and knowledgeable team.

We are offering an annual salary of £30,000 depending on experience plus a performance related bonus.
