Position: Polish Conference (Simultaneous) Interpreter
Location: Remote and Various live conference venues
Contract Type: Freelance / Per Assignment
Certified Translation Solutions is seeking to expand its roster of exceptional Polish simultaneous interpreters. We partner with government departments, multinational corporations and leading event organisers to deliver seamless, real‐time interpretation at conferences of all sizes.
Your Role
- Provide live English⇄Polish interpretation at conferences, seminars and panel discussions
- Liaise with the technical team to ensure optimal audio quality and equipment setup
- Compile terminology glossaries and briefing notes in conjunction with clients and fellow interpreters
- Uphold the highest professional standards and confidentiality at all times
What We Require
- Extensive experience in simultaneous interpreting at large‐scale or high‐profile events
- Native‐level Polish and an excellent command of English, including sector‐specific vocabulary
- Proficiency with interpretation booths, headsets and remote‐simultaneous platforms
- The ability to perform under pressure and maintain concentration for prolonged periods
- Two professional references from recognised language service providers or television networks for which simultaneous interpretation services were provided
Desirable Extras
- Specialisation in sectors such as diplomacy, sociocultural affairs, human rights, politics, finance, technology and healthcare
- Membership of professional bodies (e.g. AIIC)
- Experience in remote simultaneous interpretation
