About the Role
Are you a confident and experienced professional with a passion for quality, health & safety, information security, or environmental management? Join one of the UK’s leading certification bodies as a management systems Auditor. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients across the UK, delivering high‑quality certification audits and helping them build safer, stronger, and more resilient management systems. This is a field‑based role involving site audits, remote report writing, and flexible home working. We’ll support your development with full training, structured CPD, and the opportunity to progress your auditing career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct and report on audits against ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001.
- Deliver professional, risk‑based assessments that add real value to our clients.
- Lead opening and closing meetings, clearly communicating audit processes and findings.
- Prepare accurate, concise audit reports with clear recommendations.
- Build strong working relationships with clients across a variety of sectors.
- Stay up to date with relevant ISO standards, auditing practices, and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Bring
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, or ISO 45001.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (overnight stays may be required).
- Experience conducting or managing ISO audits.
- Understanding of UKAS or certification body requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage primarily regional travel (typically within ~70 miles), with occasional national travel when required.
- Minimum Level 3 Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate, NVQ Level 3 in OHS) with at least 2 years’ experience general health and safety work experience.
