The Role
As an IT Recruitment Consultant at Certes IT, you’ll operate in a true 360° role, combining business development, account management, and high-quality resourcing. Your focus will be threefold:
- Growing and developing your desk through existing clients and new business opportunities
- Supporting live delivery by providing the services team with best-in-class associates
- Building and maintaining a strong, evolving candidate community that underpins all delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full 360° IT recruitment lifecycle, from business development to placement and aftercare
- Develop new client relationships while managing and growing existing accounts
- Work closely with Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) to support customer demand planning and resourcing
- Take detailed job briefs and advise clients on hiring strategy, market trends, and salary benchmarks
- Continuously develop and maintain the Certes IT associate pool, with a clear understanding of candidate availability and technical capability
- Coordinate consultant interviews, start and end dates, and ongoing communications
- Source, screen, and interview IT professionals across a range of technologies
- Manage candidates through interview, offer, onboarding, and post-placement stages
- Negotiate fees, salaries, and offers with both clients and candidates
- Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and manage the recruitment CRM and supporting systems
- Consistently meet agreed activity, placement, and revenue targets
Experience & Skills Required
- 3+ years’ experience within an IT recruitment agency environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Personable and confident communicator, able to build relationships via phone and video
- Proven experience resourcing for large or complex client accounts
- Experience building and managing skills-based talent pools
- Degree-level education
