We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile Central Government client on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a major 3-year transformation programme, contributing hands-on technical expertise across a broad and complex environment.

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be embedded within a multidisciplinary team, delivering robust, secure, and scalable solutions. You will provide hands-on technical insight across multiple domains, including infrastructure, platforms, identity, and networking, helping to drive modernisation and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) environments
  • Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Splunk for monitoring and analytics
  • Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, networking, and identity management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex environments

Requirements

  • Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
  • Ability to work on-site in Milton Keynes 4 days per month
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
