A Senior ICT Network Engineer is required to develop, implement and maintain the clients critical network infrastructure which provides a 24/7 technical service across all areas. This role is essential in ensuring a secure, resilient, and high-performing technical environment that supports emergency operations 24/7. You will develop and support the maintenance of a robust, efficient, effective and secure converged network infrastructure by developing standardised methodologies and frameworks for technical delivery. Also to support day to day operations as well as project led activity.

Essential Skills Experience required:

  • Degree qualified or other significant ICT related qualification (Cisco CCNA or equivalent); or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities in networking.
  • Must have experience of network architecture, installation and managing on premise network infrastructure.
  • Experience of installation and managing on-premise layer 2 and 3 Switches and Router infrastructure.
  • Experience of network security hardware and software inclusive of Firewalls, network intrusion and detection systems.
