Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Consultant / Lead Generator to join our Warrington-based team. This is a dual-role position combining outbound lead generation with consultative sales activity. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, engaging decision‑makers, and promoting renewable energy solutions to commercial clients. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in B2B sales, offering structured training, ongoing support, and strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls to commercial clients
  • Research and identify key decision‑makers using LinkedIn and Companies House
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their energy needs
  • Obtain energy bills from prospective clients to assess suitability and establish viability for renewable solutions
  • Promote and pitch renewable energy solutions confidently and effectively
  • Book high‑quality appointments for Business Development Managers
  • Work towards and exceed individual and team targets and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline progress

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident telephone manner with the ability to engage and influence
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and resilient
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with a range of stakeholders
