We are looking for an experienced and motivated Terminal Operations Manager to lead the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our Inverness terminals. This is a senior operational leadership role with responsibility for managing terminal performance across health, safety, operational excellence, customer service, financial performance and people development. You will play a key role in ensuring our terminals operate to the highest industry standards while delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Inverness terminals.
- Ensure safe, compliant and efficient terminal operations at all times.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, industry regulations and legislative requirements.
- Drive operational performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs and service delivery.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Champion a strong safety culture across both terminals.
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the site's Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE legislation and company standards.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Manage contractor compliance and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental performance.
- Maintain robust emergency preparedness, risk management and operational assurance processes.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage operational, maintenance, CAPEX and revenue budgets.
- Monitor expenditure and financial performance against budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.
- Produce accurate forecasts and financial reports.
- Support business growth by identifying commercial opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Customer Focus
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Ensure contracted service levels are consistently achieved.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding operational performance.
- Support commercial opportunities and future business development.
- Drive continuous improvement in customer service and operational performance.
- People Leadership
- Lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams across both terminals.
- Recruit, coach and develop employees to maximise capability and engagement.

- Support effective communication through regular team briefings and performance reviews.
You'll be an experienced operations leader with a proven track record of managing complex operational environments. You'll also bring:
