We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Saturday Cook to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food while delivering excellent customer service. You will help ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and hot food items to company standards
- Ensure food is presented to a high standard and served promptly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the Site Manager
- Minimise food waste through effective stock rotation and portion control
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service
- Support the smooth operation of the site during busy trading periods
- Serving customers, plating and serving food
- Opening and closing duties
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Cook, Chef, or in a commercial kitchen/cafe
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene is desirable)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Positive, reliable, and hardworking with a flexible attitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for preparing quality food and delivering excellent customer service
