At Certas Mobility, we support millions of journeys every year through our nationwide network of forecourts, truckstops, fuel cards and mobility services. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative, commercially minded and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and help drive engagement, brand awareness and lead generation across our Mobility businesses.

About the Role
Reporting to the Mobility Marketing Director, you'll own and develop our social media presence across multiple Mobility brands. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering engaging content strategies, growing online communities, identifying compelling stories from across the business, and driving measurable commercial outcomes through both organic and paid social activity.
Working closely with marketing, sales, retail, loyalty, fuel card and truckstop teams, you'll play a key role in positioning our brands, strengthening customer engagement and generating business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Social Media Strategy & Content
- Develop and deliver social media strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Manage and grow social media channels across the Mobility division.
- Create and oversee engaging content plans that support brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation.
- Identify and develop compelling stories from across the business for internal and external audiences.
- Lead the creation and implementation of annual content plans and campaigns.
- Ensure consistency through the development and management of tone of voice guidelines.
Community & Brand Management
- Build engaged online communities across our brands.
- Implement initiatives that drive positive brand sentiment and customer advocacy.
- Support influencer and partnership programmes where appropriate.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance social performance.
Performance & Insights
- Analyse channel performance and optimise content based on data and audience insights.
- Measure and report on ROI across all social media activity.
- Produce regular performance reports with clear recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to strengthen market position.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with sales teams to create content that supports commercial objectives.
- Work closely with internal marketing specialists and external agencies.
- Support budget planning and management for social media activities.
- Build strong relationships across the business to maximise engagement and content opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Professional marketing qualification.
- Extensive experience in social media marketing.
- Proven experience developing and delivering successful social media strategies.
- Strong content creation and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing both organic and paid social campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to demonstrate commercial ROI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and self-motivated.
- Passion for social media, digital innovation and audience engagement.
Desirable
- Experience within the mobility, transport, fuel, retail or related sectors.
- Experience integrating social media activity with CRM, lead generation or AI-enabled sales tools.
- Experience managing influencer or advocacy programmes.
