Are you passionate about delivering great customer service and preparing quality food? Looking for a flexible role with genuine career progression? We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Food Service Assistant to join our team at our petrol filling station and convenience store.
About the Role
As part of our store team, you’ll play a key role in both customer service and food preparation. You’ll help deliver a high-quality food offer while ensuring an excellent customer experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving hot and cold food and beverages to company standards
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Processing transactions accurately at the till
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Replenishing stock and ensuring food displays are well presented
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company procedures
- Supporting the smooth operation of the forecourt, store, and food service area
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for customer service and food preparation
- A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Food service or retail experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Must be aged 18 or over (due to licensing regulations and lone working requirements)
