Are you an experienced Field Service Technician looking for a varied role where no two days are the same?
At SNAP, part of Certas Energy, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative access and security solutions for commercial customers across the UK and Europe.
From ANPR systems and CCTV to automated barriers, access control and networking, you'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing industry‑leading technology that keeps our customers moving safely and securely.

- What you'll be doing
- Installing, commissioning and maintaining security and access control systems.
- Servicing and repairing ANPR systems, CCTV, automated barriers, payment systems, access control and intercoms.
- Diagnosing faults and delivering first‑time fixes wherever possible.
- Supporting IP networking infrastructure and associated security technologies.
- Providing technical advice and training to customers.
- Participating in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
- Completing accurate service documentation and managing vehicle stock.
- Working safely and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Building strong customer relationships while representing the SNAP brand professionally.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Proven experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
- Experience with IP and analogue CCTV systems (such as Hikvision, Dahua or i Pro).
- Experience with structured cabling (CAT5e/CAT6).
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe, including occasional overnight stays.
- Valid passport.
Desirable
- Experience with ANPR systems.
- Experience with automated parking barriers.
- Fibre optic installation and termination experience.
- Networking knowledge.
- IPAF certification (1B, 3A & 3B).
