The Senior Product Lead plays a critical role in driving product success at SNAP. This role ensures customer needs are translated into high-quality product delivery through strong ownership of the product requirements and business processes.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of Product Leads
- Ensure high-quality requirements and backlog readiness
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles
- Act as a key link between customers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams
- Define and document clear, high-quality business requirements and user stories
- Ensure backlog items are well-structured, prioritised, and ready for development
- Lead workshops, interviews, and on-site observations to gather insights
- Identify risks, options, and recommended solutions
- Map and improve business processes, removing non-value-added activities
- Ensure alignment with product standards and best practices
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements
- Generate product ideas through engagement with customers, partners, and the wider ecosystem
- Proven experience in a product or equivalent role (logistics experience desirable)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience in requirements gathering and user story development
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and improvement
- Knowledge of Lean principles (TIMWOOD)
- Ability to lead workshops and engage diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with the Theory of Constraints (or willingness to learn)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent, recognised qualification (desirable, not essential)
- Full, clean driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
- Valid passport for European travel
