We currently have a vacancy for a Terminal Operator at our Aberdeen Terminal. This Full Time and Permanent position working 40hrs per week on a shift pattern of 2 days 06:30-14:30, 2 days 14:30-22:30 and 2 nights 22:30-06:30 with 2 days off.
Your primary responsibility as a Terminal Operator will be to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the terminal while assisting with discharging ships and bunkering fuel onto ships. You will also receive ships bringing in fuel and ensure that fuel is correctly and safely discharged into storage tanks.
We are looking for:
- Driving licence (essential)
- Health and Safety awareness
- Ability to work outdoors, near water and at height (tank tops)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Strong communication skills, able to demonstrate good listening and questioning techniques
- The ability to accurately collate, analyse and evaluate information
- Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised, demonstrating self-management in demanding situations
- Excellent team player
- Positive, optimistic, and self-motivated
- Basic I.T. skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
