Credit Controller

Credit Controller | Location: Larbert | Full-Time, Permanent

Join Certas Energy, the UK’s largest independent distributor of fuels and lubricants, as a Credit Controller in our Larbert office.

About the Role

As a Credit Controller, you will play a key part in managing and recovering outstanding debt in line with agreed credit terms and company policy. You will also support customer service by resolving payment issues and collaborating with relevant departments.

Hours & Schedule

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and collect outstanding payments in line with Certas’ Credit Policy
• Process and report returned or bounced payments to credit insurers
• Understand and operate within Credit Insurance Policies
• Maintain accurate and confidential financial records
• Resolve customer payment queries and complaints efficiently
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in Credit Control (preferred but not essential)
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
