We have an exciting opportunity to join the Lubricants team in Scotland as a Business Development Manager. This is a full-time and permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. This is a field-based role covering the Northern region of Scotland.

Role summary

As a Business Development Manager with Certas Energy, you will maximise the commercial sales opportunities and customer experience, using a combination of consultative selling, strong account management, up/cross selling, and new customer acquisition. You will need to use a combination of account management and negotiation skills to increase margin across your customer portfolio. Working in a quality-focused environment where we strive to exceed customer expectations by team-working, professional interaction, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining existing portfolio to identify and develop organic growth.
  • Proactively contacting customers/manage leads supplied by key suppliers.
  • Targeting new business through pro-active contact of Energy Solutions customer base.
  • Manage pipeline to ensure all opportunities are up to date live and real.
  • Undertake monthly reviews with line manager on business area progress vs target.
  • Quarterly deep dive with Business Unit Head/Line Manager.
