The Associate Project Manager will provide support for low complexity drug development consulting projects by ensuring project execution within budget, schedule, and scope, and support operational activities with the PMO.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Interfaces with project teams and clients to support all phases of project management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure for multi-disciplinary projects ranging in complexity. Provide project management support to other Project Managers as required.
  • Create & Manage Timelines: Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans. Communicate timelines effectively to both internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with project goals. Ensure timeliness of deliverables and quality in proof of deliverable record.
  • Project Health: Maintain project health by proactively addressing emerging issues. Monitor and maintain project and task dates within PSA. Regularly update stakeholders on project status and work collaboratively to overcome challenges.
  • Change & Risk Management: Identify and document, ensuring timing and budget impact are communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Operational Support: May provide operational support, including the ongoing development and improvement of business practices and processes.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in project management, business administration, operations management, or relevant scientific discipline.
  • Certification in PMP, Agile, SCRUM, ISO, Six-Sigma or ITIL a strong plus.
  • Project Management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, drug development, or contract research organization(s) working with sponsors to translate decisions into actions and delivering complex projects on time, under budget, and with high quality.

  • Efficient and Effective: Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality results within deadlines. Works effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to adapt communication styles to varied internal and external partners. Exhibits perceptive listening skills and a strong attention to detail.
