World Class Defence Organisation based in Bolton is currently looking to recruit a Night Shift General Maintenance Operatoroninitial 12 month contract and then ongoing and long-term thereafter.Contract Duration:12 Months (initially and then ongoing thereafter) Hourly Rate:Hourly Rate:£39.50phNight Shift General Maintenance OperatorJobDescription:We are looking for a reliable and proactive General Maintenance Operator to join our team and support the Calibration and Maintenance department in ensuring the facility and equipment remain safe, compliant, and operational.Responsibilities include:Support the Calibration & Maintenance department with general maintenance activities across the facility. Carry out routine facility compliance activities including: ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) testing throughout the facility Electrical Safety Testing of equipment and portable appliances LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) filter changes and associated maintenance tasks Assist with planned preventative maintenance activities and respond to general maintenance requirements as needed. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation and paperwork are completed correctly and on time.Development & Progression:This role offers opportunities for progression within the Calibration & Maintenance department. Training and development will be provided to support the successful candidate in developing skills and experience in:Mechanical calibration Electrical calibration Use of test equipmentSkills and Experience:Previous maintenance experience is desirable but not essential Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and develop technically TPBN1_UKTJ
