We’re hiring for a Warehouse Manager to join a leading manufacturer and distributor of geosynthetic materials, supplying into civil engineering, construction, and environmental projects across the UK.
This is a varied and hands-on role, where you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations - covering everything from inventory control and staff supervision, to order fulfilment and logistics.
You’ll be working from brand-new, purpose-built facilities with a supportive team, in a business that truly values its people and offers excellent work/life balance through a 7.5 hour working day and flexi-shift patterns.

The Role:
As Warehouse Manager, you will have full oversight of warehouse operations - ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.
You’ll also lead and develop a small warehouse team, driving performance and high standards, while ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatch
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
  • Manage and develop warehouse staff, including recruitment and training
  • Ensure timely, accurate order fulfilment to meet customer expectations
  • Coordinate transport and logistics with suppliers and carriers
  • Lead on warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and systems

About You:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role
  • Experience within construction materials / manufacturing sectors is a plus
  • Experience with inventory control systems and warehouse management software (WMS)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety best practices
