Certain Advantage is hiring for a Tools Development Engineer based in Broughton. This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.

The Company: We are working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and have a separate Space and Defense division.

The Role: This role is for a Tools Development Engineer who is ambitious and ready to make an impact. You will be results-orientated and driven to succeed. You will be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Successful industrialisation of SA Jigs and Tools Requests and supporting Projects
  • Collaboration with R&D to integrate requirements
  • Design and/or specify the requested Jigs and Tools assets according to requirements

The Individual: We are looking for people who can show:

  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Design and other Business Information Systems.
  • Experienced knowledge of aircraft production, engineering methods and procedures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
