The Role: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Service Retention Specialist to join their existing sales team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organisational and communication skills this is the perfect temp to perm role for you!
Key Responsibilities- Customer Retention: Contact existing customers to discuss their renewals, offering retention solutions, and identify opportunities to maintain long-term relationships.
- Appointment Booking: Schedule Sales appointments efficiently for both inbound and outbound enquiries, ensuring a smooth handover to the sales team and arranging renewals with existing customers.
- Live Chat Management: Proactively engage with customers via live chat, responding to sales enquiries with speed, accuracy, and professionalism. Conduct follow-up calls and communications to ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
£12.24 an hour, plus bonus (£25,467, OTE £35,000). Shifts are working 8.00am-5.00pm and 9.00am-6.00pm on a rotational basis and 1 in 5 Saturdays 9am-1.00pm (40 hours a week).
Start dates Monday 22nd December 2025 and Monday 5th January 2026.
The Individual- Previous experience in customer service or sales ideally within a contact centre environment.
- Excellent communications Skills – verbal and written.
- Customer first approach.
- Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience handling objections and turning dissatisfied customers into loyal ones.
- Empathetic, persuasive, and results driven.
- Objection handling and conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software.
