Rate: £60.00 per hour
Location: Stevenage
Hybrid / Remote working: 2/3 days/week on site
Duration: 6 Months with very likely extension.
IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager - Digital subcontractors on an initial 6 – 9 month contract.
/n
Responsibilities:
/n Defence Manufacturing company are actively looking for a Project Manager who can hit the ground running with a series of pre-planned work packages that will ultimately lead transformational projects involving the secure movement of data. The Project Manager would work with a team of Solution Architects, Analysts and Integration Engineers.

Skillset/experience required:
/n
/n
- Project Management experience – ideally gained in a defence organisation
/n
- Strong risk management skills and experience
/n
- A solid grasp of Project Management fundamentals
/n
- Ability to deal with a level of ambiguity, using project findings to refine subsequent projects in the roadmap
/n
- Negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels and with internal and external collaborators
/n
- Drive and motivation in leading project teams to strive for excellence
/n
- Any recent experience of working in a the defence industry would be beneficial
/n
- Any recent experience of projects involving data movement and/or information security
/n
