Mobile Trailer Technician (days) Winsford
Up to £23 per hour + overtime (x1.25/x1.5)
Contract to permanent role
Certain Advantage is partnering with an automotive manufacturer to recruit an experienced Mobile Trailer Technician. You will take responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and MOT preparation of our double-deck trailer fleet. You will also liaise directly with customers at their premises, ensuring strong, professional relationships are built and upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and detailed inspections on trailers
- Receive returned rental units, assess condition, and resolve any identified defects
- Perform pre-MOT checks and present vehicles for testing
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers
- Undertake chassis servicing, MOT preparation, weight tests, and deck maintenance
- Carry out regular vehicle safety assessments
- Order necessary parts and materials when required
- Accurately complete, record, and verify all service sheets and job cards
Your Background:
- Proven hands-on experience in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
- Background in repairing trailers, tail lifts, and moving double-deck systems (essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, driven attitude
