Certain Advantage are hiring for a Fabricator/Welder based in Skelmersdale on an initial contract basis. We are working with a well-established manufacturer specialising in bespoke equipment and fabricated assemblies supplied into a range of demanding industries including:
- Subsea
- Nuclear
Your Responsibilities
- Fabricating and welding bespoke equipment and assemblies to engineering specifications
- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
- Carrying out high-quality MIG welding operations
- Ensuring all fabrication and welding work meets required quality standards
- Working independently and as part of a production team
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
The individual:
- Have previous experience within heavy engineering or bespoke manufacturing environments
- Be competent in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
- Demonstrate a high standard of fabrication and MIG welding
- Have experience welding to coded standards (preferred)
- TIG welding experience would be advantageous
- Be reliable, motivated, and capable of producing work to a high standard
