Overview
Civil Litigation Solicitor – Glasgow – Salary up to £48,000 p/a DOE. We are an established firm in Glasgow City Centre seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join our award‑winning team of specialists. This full‑time, permanent position offers a hybrid working model with core business hours Monday‑Friday.
Who we are looking for:
- Qualified solicitor with up to 3 years' experience (NQ to 3‑year PQE)
- Experience working within a team and managing a volume caseload daily
- Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018; experience with data breach cases (advantageous)
- Ability to draft accurate correspondence and legal documents
- Excellent time and diary management skills
- Passionate about achieving results for clients and building strong internal and external relationships
Day to day:
- Managing a volume civil court caseload daily, completing pre‑litigation and litigation work
- Involvement in court work, including cases in ASPIC and Court of Session
- Training and mentoring junior team members and trainees
- Conducting liability investigations and coordinating medical experts
- Drafting a variety of legal documents, including summonses and writs
- Representing clients in court and consulting with counsel
