We are hiring for a Hardware Engineer based in the Warwickshire area. This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.

Would you like to be responsible for testing automotive infotainment systems, with a strong focus on active NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) technologies at both system and subsystem levels?

The Role: This role is for a Hardware/Device Testing Engineer, someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You will be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You will be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Plan and execute test programmes for infotainment systems, particularly those involving active NVH technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and NVH specialists, to ensure integrated system validation.
  • Set up and maintain test rigs and environments for infotainment and audio system validation.

The Individual: We are looking for people who can show:

  • Background in testing automotive infotainment systems, ideally with active NVH technologies.
  • Debugging and analysis using tools such as: Wireshark, Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer), Putty, Media converters, JTAG flashing.
  • Automotive communication protocols: CAN, Ethernet (Some IP), A2B (Automotive Audio Bus).
  • Audio systems and rig setup for validation.
