Certain Advantage is hiring for a Hands-on Fabricator/Welder Supervisor based in the Skelmersdale area. This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.
The Company: We are working with a manufacturer of bespoke equipment and assemblies serving a range of markets including Subsea, Nuclear, and Heavy Manufacturing.
The Role: This position is ideal for an experienced, hands-on Fabricator/Welder with supervisory experience who takes pride in high-quality workmanship. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding to a high standard, mainly MIG, with TIG skills an advantage, while also leading a small team to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
The Individual: We are looking for people who have:
- Time-served experience in fabrication and welding
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Proven supervisory experience (managing 5-6 team members)
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management
The Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate from £20.00 - £22.00 (dependent on experience)
- 39-hour day shift, Monday to Friday
- Overtime
